9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Funeral for Ernesto Butcher, Port Authority of NY/NJ

Ernesto Butcher, who retired from the Port Authority and worked tirelessly after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks to help the surviving employees of the Port Authority and the families of the 84 Port Authority employees murdered in the attacks, has died.
He suffered a heart attack on May 15, 2014. He was 69.
His funeral will be held at 10:00am on Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Maplewood, NJ.
