9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Captain Bill Butler, FDNY

Captain William E. Butler, retired FDNY and September 11th family member, died on July 13, 2013 of site-related pulmonary fibrosis. His son, Firefighter Thomas Butler, was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The funeral Mass will take place at 10:30am on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Kings Park. Bill will be buried in Northport Rural Cemetery.
