9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Fundraiser for Police Officer Chris Carrasco

There will be a 10-13 fundraiser for Officer Chris Carrasco on Sunday, September 15, 2013, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at the Fairways of Dunwoodie Golf Course in Yonkers.
Officer Carrasco, currently of the Yonkers Police Department, is a former Marine and a former NYPD officer. Chris, his wife and baby son need financial help as Chris battles Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The event is not a golf outing – there will be fun for families with music, a barbeque, a penny social, 50/50, raffles, face painting and a bouncy castle.
Adult admission is $25.00.
