9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Friends of Marty Social

The Friends of Marty will host a social on the evening of Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 7:00pm until 10:00pm  at Sona Thirteen in Morristown, NJ.

The Friends of Marty honor the memory of Martin (Marty) Boryczewski, with the Friends and Family of Martin Boryczewski Scholarship, which is awarded to a member of the junior class at Morris Catholic High School, Marty’s alma mater.

Marty was murdered on September 11, 2001 at Cantor Fitzgerald at the World Trade Center. He was 29.

The evening will consist of three hours of open bar, appetizers, a 50/50 and a raffle.

Tickets are $50.00 in advance or $60.00 at the door. There will be a limited number of wristbands available – the event is first come/first serve – so reserve your place by clicking here.

UPDATE: Due to the recent news about Sona Thirteen, Friends of Marty, Inc. has released the following statement: “We booked the Saturday Night Social event far in advance of the news that has recently come out regarding Sona Thirteen. Once we became aware of the story we contacted Sona Thirteen and following some discussions with them as well as internally, we decided to honor our commitment.
