9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Free Thyroid Cancer Nodule Screening

Thyroid cancer is one of the most common cancers contracted by 9/11 rescue and recovery workers.
There will be free screenings to test for thyroid cancers on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 11:00am until 2:30pm at Staten Island’s Borough Hall.
Screenings are free, but an appointment is necessary. Please call Renee Sarno at 718-816-2133 for more information or to make an appointment.
Screenings will be provided by HeartScan Services.
