Free legal clinic for applying for the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (Zadroga) Mineola

On Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm OR from 4:00pm – 5:30pm, New York metropolitan area law schools are offering free clinics for individuals needing assistance in filing claims under the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) at the Nassau County Bar Association in Mineola. Clinics will be facilitated by volunteer law students who will provide free assistance to people who would like to file a claim under the VCF without an attorney. Those attending will be able to meet with a law student who will provide information on the eligibility process and will assist in filling out the application form. Clinics are by appointment only.
Clinics will be conducted by law students from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, St. John’s University School of Law and Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
