9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 7:00pm, Dr. Robert Motta, Professor of Psychology at Hofstra, will discuss PTSD and psychological trauma, including common signs and symptoms, and what can be done to help. The evening is specifically geared towards those with symptoms from Hurricane Sandy, but is free and open to all.
