9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Fourth Annual Friends of Peter Alderman Walk

The Fourth Annual Friends of Peter Alderman Walk will be held in Mt. Kisco, New York on Saturday, September 15, 2012, rain or shine. The walk begins at 11:00am.

Walkers will start at the Mount Kisco Train Station and walk to Lexington Square Café where a celebratory lunch will be waiting. Last year, more than 100 walkers joined together to raise over $76,000 for the Peter C. Alderman Foundation. This year, the Foundation hopes to increase participation and raise $100,000.

The Peter C. Alderman Foundation heals the emotional wounds of victims of terrorism and mass violence by training doctors and establishing clinics in post-conflict countries around the globe. To date, the Foundation has trained or held workshops for over 1,000 indigenous mental health workers from 22 countries on five continents. Peter Alderman was attending a conference at the World Trade Center when he was murdered by terrorists. Pete was 25 years old when he died.
