9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Ex-NY Giant George Martin to talk about his 9/11 journey

Football player George Martin will appear at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 6:30pm to discuss his 2007 walk across America to help sick 9/11 recovery workers.
The talk will be followed by a signing of Martin’s book Just Around the Bend: My Journey for 9/11. Copies of the book will be available at the event.
In 2007, Martin walked across the country, dedicating his journey to the rescue and recovery workers who worked at the site of the World Trade Center after the attacks, searching for remains. Martin’s walk raised funds for health care for these workers.
