9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Earth Day Spring Clean-Up at Amy’s Greenhouse

Amy’s Greenhouse will host a spring clean-up day for Earth Day on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 10:45am until 2:00pm. The rain date is April 29, 2018.
Amy’s Greenhouse is a living memorial to Amy O’Doherty, who was killed at the age of 23 during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Some of the things Amy loved most were children and sunflowers, so the greenhouse is an appropriate tribute to her.
O’Doherty’s mother is a former teacher at Barnard and the Greenhouse in Amy’s honor is located on the school grounds where every day it helps students learn respect for living things.
