There will be a screening of the new documentary, Back from the Brink: Countering Violent Extremism, on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 6:30pm at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace & World Affairs at Georgetown University in Washington.

Back from the Brink: Countering Violent Extremism examines questions such as Why do marginalized youth join violent organizations? And What approaches have worked to help them escape the cycle of violence? The film also showcases the efforts of many communities worldwide — in Pakistan, Lebanon and the US — in addressing the high toll of violent extremism.
