9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Dine at Outback Steakhouse and Support the NY Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund

On Thursday, March 20, 2014, if you dine at a participating Outback Steakhouse, 15% of your pre-tax check will be donated to the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund if you present the special flyer, which can be found here.

Sixteen Outback locations in NYC and the surrounding area are participating, including restaurants in Bayside, Brooklyn, Chelsea, Commack, East Setauket, Holbrook, Huntington, Island Park, Lindenhurst, Merrick, Palisades, Queens Place, Staten Island, Westbury, White Plains and Yonkers.

The New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund currently serves more than 600 families of emergency workers killed in the line of duty, including the families of the 37 Port Authority PD officers, 23 NYPD officers, 343 FDNY firefighters and EMTs killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
