9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Deadline to Apply for the Michael C. Rothberg September 11th Memorial Scholarship

The Michael C. Rothberg September 11th Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Michael Rothberg, whose life was cut short by terrorists on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center.

The scholarship is given by Michael’s family, his classmates from Sharon High School and his friends. In May 2014, the scholarship committee will award a $5,000 merit-based scholarship to a member of Sharon High School’s graduating class who exemplifies Michael’s academic promise, integrity, and service to community.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Michael Rothberg was managing director of program trading for Cantor Fitzgerald and was working on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center.

To be considered for the scholarship in Michael’s honor, please submit the application and required materials to mcrscholarship@aol.com no later than April 27, 2014. Signed materials can be scanned and attached to your email. If you need to send any portion of your submission as hard copy, please mail them prior to the April 27, 2014 deadline to the address below. For more information about the Michael C.
