9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The 12th annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days will be held from October 1, 2013 until October 31, 2013.
Daniel Pearl World Music Days is an international network of concerts that use the power of music to express tolerance and humanity. Since 2002, Daniel Pearl World Music Days has grown to more than 11,000 performances in 129 countries.
The Daniel Pearl World Music Days is an awareness-raising program, not a fundraiser. There is no financial obligation to participate and all musicians are welcome.
Journalist Daniel Pearl was murdered by al Qaida terrorists in Pakistan in February 2002.
