Daniel Milton will speak on ‘Selling the Ideal: The Islamic State’s Propaganda Machine’ at John Jay Center on Terrorism’s seminar

The next Friday seminar at John Jay College’s Center on Terrorism will take place on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The speaker will be Daniel Milton, who will discuss his book, Selling the Ideal: The Islamic State’s Propaganda Machine.
Milton is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Director of Research at the Combating Terrorism Center (CTC) at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. His research focuses on the causes and consequences of terrorism and counterterrorism (both domestic and transnational), with an emphasis on applying quantitative methods to policy relevant questions.
