9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Richmond County Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Alan Aurelia, will present Music for Healing on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 8:00pm in the Music Hall at Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The concert will feature two Staten Island premieres: Lament and Restoration, by Ron Wasserman, and In Their Loving Memory, by A. Dennono. Pieces by  Bach, Barber and Vivaldi will also be part of the program.

Lament and Restoration was written in memory of World Trade Center victim Welles Remy Crowther, who saved several people in Tower 2 on September 11, 2001.

Tickets are $12.00 in advance; $15.00 at the door and free for students and children.
