Commemorative ribbon project

August 20, 2014 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

In commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, hundreds of people tied white “Remember to Love” ribbons to the St. Paul’s Chapel fence in Lower Manhattan. The ribbons were inscribed with personal messages – to victims of the attacks or simply with hopes of a peaceful future.

Trinity Church (the church St. Paul’s is affiliated with) donated these ribbons to artist Muriel Stockdale, who is organizing a similar project  this summer.

Learn more and work on the project from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2014,  Wednesday, August 13, 2014 and Wednesday, August 20, 2014.
