9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “Come from Away” CD signing and performance
April 7, 2017 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
The cast of Come from Away will celebrate the release of their recording of the show with an in-store performance and CD signing at the Lexington Avenue Barnes & Noble on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 4:30pm. This will be a wrist-banded event — wristbands will be available with CD purchase beginning at 9:00am on April 7, 2017. Please note that there is expected to be a very high demand for this event.
Cast members Petrina Bromley, Geno Carr, Jenn Colella, Joel Hatch, Rodney Hicks, Kendra Kassebaum, Chad Kimball, Lee MacDougall, Caesar Samayoa, Q. Smith, Astrid Van Wieren, and Sharon Wheatley will appear, along with the show’s creators, Irene Sankoff and David Hein and the musical arranger and supervisor Ian Eisendrath.
The CD is now available to pre-order on Barnes & Noble and Amazon and will be released online and in stores March 24.
The musical’s original Broadway cast recording was released digitally on March 10, 2017 and Come from Away opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on March 12, 2017.

Come from Away celebrates the friendships made among stranded travelers whose planes were diverted to tiny Gander, Newfoundland during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The nearly 7,000 passengers and crewmembers of 38 commercial airliners doubled Gander’s population.
