September 11, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 1:10 pm

In honor of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, students nationwide are asked to sing the National Anthem on Friday, September 11, 2015 at precisely 10:00am PST – 1:00pm EST. The sing-along will also mark the 200th anniversary of The Star-Spangled Banner.

The American Public Education Foundation will provide free educational resources to teach the words and meaning of The Star-Spangled Banner. If your school intends to join in the sing-along, please register online. If enough schools sign up and sing, the event may break the Guinness Book of World Records’ record for number of singers.
