9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Brothers for Flight 93 Motorcycle Ride

The Brothers for Flight 93 invites motorcycle riders to join the sixth annual Memorial Ride from Philadelphia, PA to Shanksville, PA, the site of the September 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 93 crash near Shanksville, Pa.
This year’s ride will be on September 1-2, 2012. The pre-registration fee is $40.00. Day-of registration costs $50.00.
Riders will meet outside Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility, 7901 State Road in Philadelphia starting at 6:30am. Ceremonies will start at 7:30am, with the 250-mile ride to follow.
There will be four rest and fuel stops along the Pennsylvania Turnpike route. There will be a visit to the crash site, where riders will be able to see the first phase of construction of the permanent national Flight 93 memorial.
A barbecue dinner will be at Days Inn of Somerset. Rooms have been reserved for those wishing to stay overnight. Call the hotel at 814-445-9200 and mention Brothers of Flight 93.
Riders will return to Philadelphia on September 2, 2012.
The first 100 people to register will receive a commemorative T-shirt, patch and pin. All proceeds will benefit the ongoing construction of the permanent Flight 93 memorial as well as youth scholarships in Northeast Philadelphia.
