9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Brooklyn Cyclones FDNY Appreciation Night
July 31, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
On Friday, July 31, 2015, the Brooklyn Cyclones will host their fifteenth annual FDNY Appreciation Night.
The night includes a fire safety & education table, bagpipers, an appearance by mascots Hot Dog and Siren, a 150th anniversary fire truck and ambulance, etc.
A pre-game live Q104.3 Happy Hour party will take place in Peggy O’Neill’s at 4:00pm. The pre-game ceremony begins at 6:30pm. The Cyclones will play Batavia at 7:00pm.
Children of FDNY members aged 6-12 may appear on the field for the National Anthem. They should be wearing either FDNY apparel or their Little League uniform. Everyone participating must be on the concourse level between Sections 22 & 24 at 6:30pm sharp! A Cyclone staff member will lead the children onto the field. A few adults will be allowed to chaperone on the field. The children will stand next to the players, at their field positions, during the National Anthem. Children will receive a Cyclones cap.
A post-game fireworks display will begin at 9:30pm. There will be a post-game party in Peggy O’Neill’s with music by the Hello Brooklyn Band at 10:00pm.
Tickets are $15.00 each for Box seats. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to The FDNY Foundation.
