9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. There will be a Bowling for Lungs fundraiser through helphopelive, a non-profit organization that helps people afford organ transplants,  to raise money to fight chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), a lung ailment that affects many of the recovery workers from the World Trade Center. The event is set for Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1:00pm at Showplace Bowling Center in Travis.
