Battle of the Firehouse Bands hosted by New York City Memorial Stair Climb benefitting the Ray Pfeifer Foundation

March 10, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 11:30 pm

On Saturday, March 10, 2018, the New York City Memorial Stair Climb will kick off their 2018 fundraising campaign for the Ray Pfeifer Foundation by hosting the Battle of the Firehouse Bands at the Cutting Room. Doors open at 6:30pm; show starts at 7:30pm.

Nine bands, all with FDNY members, will play 10-minute sets. The winner will be selected by the audience, and the winning band gets an encore performance and a $1,000 prize.

FDNY members from L22, E313, L117, L17, L4, L126, D13, L16, E76, E84, L25, L37, and E38 will perform.

Tickets cost $20.00 and are available here or here. Tickets are limited and only available online. Funds raised will go to the Ray Pfeifer Foundation to help sick rescue and recovery workers from the World Trade Center recovery efforts. Ray Pfeifer died in 2017 of site-related kidney cancer. During his illness he fought tirelessly for the reinstatement of the Zadroga Act to help those sick from their work at the site. The Ray Pfeifer Foundation continues Ray’s work.
