The Battery Park City Block Party will be held on September 28, 2013 from 11:30am – 4:00pm. The festivities will feature live music, kids’ rides, community and vendor tables, participating restaurants, wine tastings, boat rides and more. It will take place on the Esplanade by the North Cove boat marina.
Help is needed to make the event a success, and everyone is welcome to participate:
- To assist as a volunteer before the event to distribute flyers, or on the day of the event – to help set-up vendor tables, staff tables, and other important tasks – contact Tammy at email@example.com or phone 917-409-8BPC or 917-409-8272.
- For high school volunteers: community service volunteer letters will be given out at the end of the event.
- If you have a Battery Park City-based business, non-profit, or restaurant, please plan to participate with a table provided at no cost on the promenade. Reservations required. Tables are first come, first served, with space limited. To reserve a table for your business contact Honey or Pat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
