9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 1:00pm, the Barnegat 9/11 memorial will be dedicated. The memorial is located just outside the Barnegat Township municipal building.

The memorial’s centerpiece is a piece of steel from the World Trade Center. The steel, which is more than 11 feet high, is from the ‘B’ parking level of Tower 1.
