Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual dinner dance /doo wop fundraiser in memory of Firefighter Michael Kiefer will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at Plattsdeutsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square.

There will be a buffet dinner, beer, wine & soda, coffee & dessert and lots of great music –  all for $100.00 per person. The evening’s entertainment will feature Don K. Reed’s Doo Wop Shop Live starring LaLa Brooks, Lenny Cocco, Sal LoCascio & DJ Mouse.

Ed Kilduff, FDNY Chief of Department, will make an appearance.
