9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The John Jay College of Criminal Justice Center on Terrorism will host a talk entitled A New Way to Counter Violent Extremism by Dr. Sarah Sewall, Undersecretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights at the U.S. State Department, at 2:00pm on Wednesday March 23, 2016. The free talk will be held in the Moot Court Room of the Center on Terrorism’s New Building.

The talk will be open to the public.
