9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Sunset Candlelight and Remembrance Ceremony – Nassau County

To mark the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Nassau County will honor the memories of those killed in the annual Sunset Candlelight and Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 6:30pm at the 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park.
The service will be held rain or shine.
The Memorial has been repaired.
The evening’s events will include the reading of names of Nassau County residents killed in the attacks read by family members.
