9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Plaque dedication for the firefighters lost on Father’s Day 2001

On Tuesday, October 9, 2012, a plaque to honor three firefighters who died battling a Queens blaze on Father’s Day in 2001 will be unveiled at a 4:00pm ceremony.

The intersection of Astoria Blvd. and 14th St. has already been renamed for Firefighter Harry Ford and Firefighter Brian Fahey, both of Rescue 4, and Firefighter John Downing of Ladder 163.
