9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Tribeca Film Festival

The fifteenth annual Tribeca Film Festival runs from Wednesday, April 13, 2016 through Sunday, April 24, 2016.
The festival began shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Tribeca residents Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal started it to bring people back downtown. Now it is one of the foremost film festivals.
