9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. John G. Chipura Memorial Golf Outing

The thirteenth annual John G. Chipura Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Silver Lake Golf Course in Staten Island.
The price per person for the day’s golf package is $170.00, which includes greens fees, cart, three meals, party, open bar and shirt. To attend only the dinner and party will cost $60.00.Dinner will begin at 2:00pm at The Staaten. Please register and pay by August 15, 2015. All funds raised will go to the John G. Chipura Foundation, which assists military, fire and police families in need.

John G. “Chip” Chipura served as an NYPD detective and as a corporal in the US Marine Corps before joining the FDNY. He survived the terrorist bombing of Marine barracks in Beirut in 1983, but was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. He was 39.
