9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Fundraiser for Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund

R.P. McMurphy’s Public House will host their 13th annual Christmas fundraiser on Saturday, December 6, 2014. (Call the pub for the time and further details.) They will raise funds to support the work of the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund.
The event will include a toy drive for sick children, a buffet, a visit from Santa, raffles and live music from the Wantagh American Legion Pipe Band.
The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund, aka the Terry Fund, supports firefighters with equipment and medical emergency grants. It also assists children of firefighters with their educations.
FF Terrence Farrell was 45 and a member of the elite Rescue 4 unit when he was killed in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
