9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Friends of Peter Alderman Walk

The sixth annual Friends of Peter Alderman Walk will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00am beginning in the lower parking lot of Scarsdale Village Hall. The walk will continue for 1.4 miles to Fox Meadow Elementary School, where, after the Walk, a BBQ lunch will be served and there will be carnival booths, field games, face painting and more.

Walkers may either collect sponsors or pay $50.00 to walk. Children under the age of 10 walk, eat and play for free. Please click here to register or to sponsor a walker.

The Friends of Peter Alderman Walk will be held rain or shine. A rain plan will be announced on the morning of the Walk, should it be necessary. If it rains, please check the Walk website and/or social media for details.

Peter C. Alderman, 25, worked for Bloomberg to support his love of travel. He was a meeting in WTC1 on September 11, 2001 when the terrorists attacked. The foundation in his name assists survivors of terrorism and mass violence by training indigenous health workers and establishing trauma treatment systems in post-conflict countries around the world.
