12-12-12: A Concert for Sandy Relief is being organized by the same team that ran the Concert for New York City, the charity concert given in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The concert will feature Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Kanye West, and The Who, with other performers to be announced.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Monday, December 3, 2012. All funds raised from the concert’s ticket sales will be administered by the Robin Hood Foundation. The Robin Hood Foundation began in 1988 and began a Relief Fund after the terrorist attacks. 100% of the money raised will go directly to hurricane relief.
