David Brearley High School presents scholarships honoring Sgt. Robert Kaulfers, PAPD and John Tobin of Marsh & McLennan

David Brearley High School in Kenilworth, NJ held its Senior Award Night on June 7, 2017, reported Leah Scalzadonna in Tap into Kenilworth.

Among the scholarships and awards given were those honoring Kenilworth’s John J. Tobin, 47, of Marsh & McLennan and Sgt. Robert Kaulfers, 49, of the Port Authority Police Department. Both men were killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and both lived with their wives and children in Kenilworth.

The 9/11 Memorial Awards in Memory of John Tobin went to Nicole Tancs & Daniel Cristello. The 9/11 Memorial Awards in Memory of Sgt. Robert Kaulfers were awarded to Madison Rosa & Miranda Rosa.

The Bobby Kaulfers Braveheart Award went to Amanda Manresa and Victoria Scorese. The Bobby Kaulfers Braveheart scholarship is awarded to a senior who intends to pursue a career in public service, and who has demonstrated loyalty and commitment to David Brearley High School.

The Sgt. Robert Kaulfers Memorial Scholarship was given this year to Jamie Goncalves. The John Tobin Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Madison Rosa.
