New York Sailors raise spirits of their shipmates

USS New York is currently at sea conducting a composite training unit exercise as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit. 

For Halloween at sea, Sailors of the USS New York decorated the ship’s mess decks with spiders and ghosts.

Kearsarge and Arlington return to homeport

The U.S. Navy’s Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, which includes the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington, the ship built to honor those killed in the Pentagon and American Airlines Flight 77 in the 9/11 terrorist attacks; and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit will return from a seven-month deployment on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
