U.S. Marines teach Japanese forces how to fight from the sea in expanded Iron Fist exercise

Marines from Camp Pendleton are teaching Japanese soldiers from the Western Army Infantry Regiment of Japan about amphibious warfare. The soldiers will train aboard the USS Somerset, writes Gidget Fuentes of the US Naval Institute on January 25, 2016.
