Bin Salman flies into New York as 9/11 families push case against Saudi Arabia

Prince Mohammed bin Salman is making a two-week visit to the United States while at the same time, the group 9/11 Families and Survivors United for Justice Against Terrorism, consisting of approximately 850 relatives of 9/11 victims, continues with their lawsuit against Saudi Arabia, writes Jamie Merrill for Middle East Eye. 9/11 Families and Survivors United for Justice Against Terrorism have hoped that bin Salman would use his trip to admit Saudi responsibility for the terrorist attacks.

The suit accuses Saudi Arabian officials of funneling money through various so-called charities to aid and abet the 9/11 attackers and to fund al-Qaeda training camps.

The judge in the case is expected to make a ruling soon.
