AKC Canine Health Foundation Funded Study of 9/11 Search and Rescue Dogs Enters its Fourteenth Year

A November 24, 2015 report from the American Kennel Club’s Health Foundation on 9/11 search and rescue dogs shows the program ongoing with the final three dogs still alive.Morgan an English Springer Spaniel who worked at the Staten Island Landfill, Bretagne, a Golden Retriever who worked at the World Trade Center, and Tookie, an Airedale from the control group, are still able to participate in the annual medical study.
