Accused NYC terrorist’s boss was subject of mystery Homeland Security probe

The Paterson, NJ address found on the ID of the terrorist who killed eight people on October 31, 2017 on a Tribeca bike path is associated with a July, 2017 terrorist investigation.

Neighbors report that Sayfullo Saipov never lived at the address given, but that it had been part of a Homeland Security probe this summer, investigating the trucking company that employed Saipov. The trucking company is registered as doing business at the same Illinois Avenue address on Saipov’s license, federal documents show.

The FBI is investigating, reports Erin Banco in the NJ Advance Media.
