A musical about the days after 9/11

An interview with Irene Sankoff who with her husband, David Hein, created Come from Away, can be found here.

Come from Away tells the story of the kindness shown by the residents of tiny Gander, Newfoundland to the approximately 7,000 people stranded there when US airspace closed due to the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Gander has a population of roughly 9,000.

The musical about the unlikely meetings in Gander opens on Broadway on March 12, 2017.

Robert Feldberg of North Jersey.com wrote the interview.
