Dear 9/11 Families

Several readers have asked about this lawsuit, and if it’s the same one that Motley Rice was started. The short answer is, yes, it’s the same lawsuit.  The New York Times wrote about it in February 2015, explaining the twists and turns.  Attached is a PDF of that article if you wish to read it and don’t have access to the NY Times.  If you do have web access to the NY Times, you can use the link.

As this is short notice, and it is summer vacation season, if you cannot attend, perhaps another member of your family or even a friend could come.  It is just a matter of seeing people in the courtroom that are concerned about this.  From a legal and diplomatic standpoint, it’s a very big deal.  Having been to the U.S. Supreme Court three times, and considering Saudi Arabia’s relationship with the United States, if our presence helps the judge decide not to dismiss Saudi Arabia as a defendant, this will be a huge victory for this stage.

The call for us to appear in court is also quite rare, especially from a New York City law firm that is well respected by the judiciary (see below).

Thanks for any help you can give this matter.
